THE OTHER SIDE OF BALI; THE NORTH
We strongly recommend to all visitors to explore the north of Bali as well, due to its diversity. Soon after leaving the capital area of Denpasar, rural villages dominate the landscape. Rice fields as fare as the eye can see, following the rising of the mountain chain which covers the central part of the island. Bedugul welcomes you with fresh mountain air, and the sight of the Bratan lake, one of the main water sources on the island.
One the other side of the mountains lays, Lovina, know because of its black beaches with sand from Mount Agung, the largest volcano on the island.
Passing small village communities and again the rice fields, with no match seen anywhere else, in the world. On the way back to the hotel you will see Banjar Hot Spring.
